Happy Wheels is Violently Addicting

There’s just something about the blood and gore  from insane decapitations in Jim Bonacchi’s Happy Wheels that makes this game super addicting. I just can’t get enough  of Irresponsible Dad, which is my favorite character to choose from in every level. It’s also amazing how much time and effort some players put into creating their own custom levels. Each time I’m blown away by a great map, I make sure to return the favor by rating 5 stars and leaving a comment. My all time favorite game mode is the Sword/Ball Throw, rope swing, and impossible level courses. You guys should definitely try those map types out when you get a chance! Happy Wheels is certainly the go-to game when you only have a few minutes to play. There were a few levels I highly recommend: Toilet Adventures, Pokemon Gym, and Wipeout map. Check those levels out if you’re interested!

A Reason to Build Again

Diablo III’s release is just around the corner. It seems as though we’ve been waiting a lifetime for this blockbuster title to emerge. Now we can all rejoice as it will be here in less than 2 weeks. BUT – I’m more looking forward to Guild Wars 2’s release. I had a chance to participate in beta last weekend. It was a great experience as 8 hours flashed by in the blink of an eye.

What really caught my eye was how fluid the combat system was as I slay my foes in close combat. Nothing is more epic than running around as an Elementalist, kiting mobs and casting spells without having to worry about breaking spell interruptions due to movement. This already 1UPs World of Warcraft Vanilla days (the only time when WoW was the best game I’ve ever played). With that in mind, GW2 gives me a solid reason to build again. It’s been 4 years since I last upgraded my PC. The long haul has made me feel less inclined to want to experience any awesome games on my rig because it has become dated in terms of performance. But now I can finally breathe life back into my PC by gathering together high-end components for my next build (YES, I’m going all out because really that’s the only way to build). I’m also stoked for The Elder Scrolls Online. It’s going to be a memorable experience to spam FUS RO DAH on party members! Can’t wait to try out D3 on not one, or two, but THREE GTX 680 GPU’s ;)

It’s GO TIME!

Who was your romance in Mass Effect?

Today is no ordinary day. It is the day we must take a final stand against the Reapers and reclaim what is truly ours – the Galaxy. But before we jump into combat, let us first revisit what matters just as much as a good fight. Like any action film, the hero never joins the final battle without a little something special on the side. There’s always room for romance and it is what every iconic hero needs before an epic battle takes place.

With so many varieties and choices aboard the Normandy, it’s hard to decide who the lucky mate would be for my FemShep. First off, it started with Kaidan in Mass Effect. I left Ashley for dead back in Virmire so I could have him all to myself J. Then came along the curiosity with cross species such as Thane and Garrus. Don’t get me wrong, Thane was a really sensitive guy. A little TOO sensitive for my FemShep’s taste. Garrus on the other hand really creeped me out so I had to go back to Kaidan.  For the record, Liara never appealed to me because I found it rather disturbing that the entire Asari race is quite frankly the best of both worlds – unisex gender.

On a second thought, forget romance and let’s annihilate the Reapers and Cerberus!

Reporting for duty…

Greetings, fellow bloggers! This is a first for me, so please bear with me. Just a brief intro about myself – my name is Tina and I am the graphic designer guru here at the corporate office of NZXT. I hopped on board with the NZXT team earlier this year, so I guess that makes me a senior noob compared to Rob. My job primarily focuses on print materials such as magazine ads and packaging, but I’m also in charge of product photography and videos. I am not a PC gamer – although I did have a short period of time invested in Starcraft! I also have an addiction to the Sims. Man! It is so fun finding ways to kill my Sims as well as blinging out their Estate. Unfortunately the culture here at NZXT is all about PC gaming (with the exception of Irene’s 360 and my Wii J) but the team here is trying to convince me otherwise (or more like if I want to keep my job, I must. O_O). Since then we’ve had a few League of Legends 101 course in the office and I was convinced to play Portal 1 & 2. Love it, but I haven’t beat Portal 2 yet… someday I will once I can get off Sims or my iTouch. Other than that, I rock on app games on my iPod Touch; my favorites:  Fruit Ninja – with a high score of 1068 in Arcade Mode, Angry Birds – perfect 3 stars up to level 6-7, and lastly Tiny Wings – I’m currently stuck on the 9th nest. I would be more than happy to challenge you guys to a duel in Fruit Ninja! Bring it ON!!!

That should be enough about me in the meantime. Until next time, folks!

Logging off (to play Sims),
