I was just having a discussing with some friends and co-workers about the upcoming launches for this year, looks like 2011 is going to be another great year for PC Gaming. The games that top my list are:
1. Dragon Age 2
2. Elder Scrolls V
I should stop listing here because the two up top will probably take up all of my time :D
3. Crysis 2 : It’s always interesting to see how PC hardware can continue to push he boundaries of gaming
4. Star wars online by Bioware: I’m a huge fan of Bioware, they have consistently put out amazing games and I’m always anxious for every game they release. There’s a lot of doubt in the market but I believe in Bioware, I think they really set a high standard for design.
5. Portal 2: Coop. Woot woot!
6. Shogun 2: Total war: I’ve been a fan of this series since the first Shogun, as a kid I use to pencil my own RTS with mountains and weather effects and Total war brought that to life. I still remember a game when the rain came and turn the tide of war my way as my cavalries ran down the enemy musketeers.
7. Diablo 3: How can you forget D3, another huge franchise from Blizzard? We should all thank Blizzard for putting so much effort behind a PC game, I don’t remember the last time a publisher spend so much effort and money on PC only games.
8. More Minecraft?: I’m awaiting the day when team deathmatch with castle building, traps, comes into play. You can do it Notch!
